What our customers say

The Maxipart® Allrounder points have done at least as many acres as the
genuine Kockerling tungsten points, probably more. The reason I really like them though is that the Maxipart® ones are much better priced.

We have bought a tungsten part from a well-established manufacturer before and to be fair have always got on well with these. We would typically do about 1500 – 1800 on a set depending on the season. However we trialled your Maxipart® ones alongside these last year and they’ve now done 2000 acres and still going strong.

We have changed all the original points but the Maxipart® points still have a lot left on it. They have also kept their shape much better so it continues to do the job throughout it’s life. Very happy with it.

We worked about 1,200 acres across a couple of seasons. With regards to the points, with the fin up through the shin and the increased size of the “foot” below it meant that they didn’t snap through the middle, which we’d had with genuine. This was a considerable advantage and meant that they lasted twice as long as genuine.
The wings also lasted much longer as they’re thicker and have more tungsten.
Both points and wings are also much better priced than genuine so I was very happy with them.

The fitment and retention of shape of the point is great, I haven’t lost a single one.
Although no direct comparison was done I would say that we’ve got pretty much double the wear out of the Maxipart® point compared to any other tungsten point we’ve used before. Also that’s in the summer/autumn of 2018 which was an
extremely hard year. It has really helped with down time. I’ve been really impressed with them.

They’re very good. I’ve tried half a set of Maxipart® points and half a set of genuine points. I put the Maxipart® on one side and the genuine on the other and there’s no difference at all. It then comes down to price and the Maxipart® are quite a bit cheaper. I’ve tried other non-genuine ones as well in the past but these didn’t last long.

We trialled the Maxipart® points against other non-geniune parts, as well as genuine in the Spring and Autumn of 2018. The other non-genuine did 1,000 acres and the genuine did 1,900. Your Maxipart® parts are still going and have now done over 2,000 acres. The really good thing was that the Maxiparts® points kept their shape throughout so are doing as good a job now as when they started.

Also, even now when they’re getting to the end of their life the bolts are still as good as new as the bolts sink down so deep into the point. The other good thing is that as well as outlasting genuine they’re also a lot better priced. A brilliant point.

We were originally using genuine non-winged (non-tungsten) points and were getting about 40 acres from them. We then moved on to the genuine Keeble winged subsoiler points and got about 60 acres from them. We then tried the Maxipart® points. We have tried other suppliers’ tungsten points before and have been very unconvinced that you get enough value from them so we were very dubious about taking these. We therefore had 36 non tungsten winged subsoiler points and 9 with tungsten on the nose and wings to take us through the season.

Your non-tungsten did about 25% more than the standard Keeble points – however your tungsten version outlasted your standard points by about 8 or 9 times. I wish I’d gone all tungsten now. They’re a great point.

I was originally using genuine Keeble J leg points and not getting a great deal of
wear – perhaps 40-60 acres.

We then tried the Maxipart® points. We have tried other supplies tungsten parts and weren’t convinced that tungsten was good value for money. We looked at what we would need for the season and took 8 non winged J leg tungsten points and
40 non winged J leg non tungsten points to go on the front of the machine and the same quantities of non winged to go on the back. Your standard non tungsten points ones are better, with them lasting about 25% longer than the genuine Keeble, but your tungsten points were something else. We got 9 times the wear from your tungsten points over the genuine Keeble and what’s more, once they were worn, we could then take the winged version from the back and put them on the front so we got another three changes. We therefore got 12 points to 1 when you consider the move from the back to the front.

They’re great points and we will always go for the Maxipart® tungsten ones in the future.

“I’ve been delighted with these points – they’ve been absolutely fantastic”
I put a set on and they’ve now done 1,500 acres and are still going strong. I would have used over 8 sets of Borgault non-tungsten points in that acreage – also if this had been the case a lot of the acreage worked would have been done with semi-worn or worn points so you lose the efficiency of the machine. With the Maxipart® boxer point you keep the integrity of the point. You keep the shape and width of the point throughout its long life. With 1,500 acres done on a 3 meter machine – that’s an awful lot of passes, an awful lot of downtime saved and a great job done as the point keeps its shape. Great product, I’d highly recommend them.

“We’ve more recently gone back to using Vaderstad original discs on both our
Topdown cultivator and rapid drill, due to the fact that we’ve found the fitment and wear of non-original discs to be poor. However we bought a set of the Maxipart® Topdown discs and fitted two original discs amongst them. The fitment of the Maxipart® disc was fine and after around 2800 acres of work this autumn, it is clear that the wear is completely comparable between the two. With the Maxipart® only costing 60% of the original product it’s a no brainer to fit the Maxipart® disc and we will continue to do so.”
